New HSK Preparations series is a set of intensive pre-test tutorial textbooks and is compiled to satisfy urgent needs of examinees of HSK organized by Hanban / Confucius Institute Headquarters. It reflects HSK's examination thoughts, features typical and pertinent contents, is suitable for tutorialclass teaching and self-test by examinees, and improves examinees' ability to pass HSK in an allround way in a short time. This series is composed of eight volumes by question type, with a listening textbook and a reading and writing textbook for Level 4, and a listening textbook, a reading textbook and awriting textbook for Level 5 and Level 6 respectively. The listening textbook is composed of following contents: overview of listening comprehension, examination skills for part one and part two of listening comprehension, intensive exercises and key to exercises, two listening model tests attached with key to exercises and explanatory notes. The reading textbook is composed of following contents: introduction and features of reading comprehension, classic examination questions, example analysis, examination skills, special exercises (key to exercises and explanatory notes), intensive exercises (key to exercises and explanatory notes), and two reading model tests attached with key to exercises and explanatory notes. This series also can be used together with New HSK: Simulated Test Papers for Chinese Proficiency Test (Level 4-Level 6).
