The mission of the Association of Geographic InformationLaboratories for Europe (AGILE) is to promote academicteaching and research at the European level, and tofacilitate networking activities between geographicinformation laboratories, including focused meetings basedon state-of-the-art presentations on key research issuesand European geographic information research conferences.The AGILE Conferences on Geographic Information Science(CIS) have become an essential meeting place for Europeanresearchers and practitioners, where they meet and exchangeideas and experiences at the European level.
