The book examines how Biarritz became a favored destination for Russian elites, including the mafia (BRATVA), through real estate investments and complex financial arrangements. Through the analysis of money flows, international sanctions and money laundering schemes, it shows the impact of these dynamics on the local economy and European geopolitics.
