A photographic vision of Iceland, the youngest land of Earth
There are places that are not visited. You go through them, you feel them, you carry them inside.Iceland was not a destination. It was a heartbeat. A silent call that pushed me to cross sleeping volcanoes, wild waterfalls, breathing glaciers, and skies that burn green. There, where the world is still being born, each photograph became a dialogue between the land and my emotions.I did not go looking for an image. I went looking for that instant when everything aligns: the light, the silence, the wind, the amazement. And, when it happens, when you capture it… it becomes inevitable to want to look for it again and again. It is a fire that does not go out. A ritual of observation, waiting, and gratitude. This book does not pretend to show places. It intends to share sensations. It is my way of saying: this is what I felt in front of the immense. Because in Iceland, I understood that photography not only records, it also reveals. And that there are landscapes that are not only looked at… they are inhabited.Thank you for living these with me.
